Problem:
Eduss Mathematics ILS does not have an automatic uninstall function in Windows XP
Add/Remove Programs dialog so users cannot easily remove it.
Cause:
The installer for Eduss Mathematics ILS failed to include the necessary
components.
Solution:
Follow these steps:
- Download and apply the registry patch:
- http://www.eduss.com/support/files/RegFix_MathMSI.reg
- Right click on the link above and select "save target as" or "save link as"
- Select a location that will be easy for you to find, such as your desktop.
- Once you have downloaded the RegFix_MathMSI.reg file you should then find the file where you saved it.
- Double click AutoInstallRemoval(.reg) and you will be prompted with a question: "Are you sure you want to add the information in RegFix_MathMSI.reg to the registry?"
- Click on "Yes" to remove the keys.
- You should then see a prompt: "Information in RegFix_MathMSI.reg has been successfully entered into the registry."

Eduss Mathematics tries to install continuously.
- Remove the program and data files:
- Open the Windows Explorer file manager, and navigate to C:\Program
Files\
- Delete the EdussMath directory (Some installations used the Eduss directory
name. You can delete it as long as Eduss Math is the only Eduss program you
have or if you've already used the normal Add/Remove Programs uninstall feature
for the other applications).
- Remove any Eduss Mathematics entries from your Start Menu
Click on the Start menu and select All Programs, then right-click on all
Eduss links that you wish to remove and select Delete.
