EDUSS EDUCATION SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT WITH GIRLS AND BOYS TOWN

EDUSS Education Software Solutions announces agreement with Girls and Boys Town for THE EDUSS IMTA student intake and remidiation SYSTEM in English and Math.

Eduss’ Integrated Multi-Dimensional Teaching Assistant Identifies Where Learning Stopped, Remediate’s, Accelerates, and Extends the learning into the students living environment.

DENVER, CO - November 2, 2006 - Eduss, a leading international developer of Math, English and Phonics Software for K-12 schools is pleased to announce the deployment of the Eduss IMTA at Girls and Boys Town, in Omaha NE.

Girls and Boys Town selected EDUSS education software based on its unique program capabilities which serve both teachers and students.

Specifically, teachers can incorporate program content into lesson instruction by using overlays made directly from the software.  Moreover, content terminology in English and Mathematics is well defined to insure user understanding with audio capacity for struggling readers.

Diagnostically, EDUSS fully assess the capabilities of students regardless of their chronological age or grade level.  If a student is doing poorly, the assessment component lowers automatically, the level of difficulty.  If items are too easy, the level of difficulty is raised to meet student functioning.  The student can go as low or high as his/her skill level.

The EDUSS Integrated Multidimensional Teaching Assistant, (IMTA) is able to take the application even beyond the assessment level by producing an automated tutorial for each and every student based on the prescriptive diagnosis of the assessment, giving each student a true 1:1 teacher to student learning platform.

Since the entire learning components of lessons, homework, automated tutorials and reporting are all integrated into one system - teachers, mentors, caregivers, parents and even sponsors can meaningfully and successfully support the progressive learning of the student, regardless of the level at which they enter the system.  And when the students leave, they can take their software with them to support them in their future learning initiatives.
As a former Math and software guru himself, Dr. Bob Gehringer, Superintendent, of Boys Town Schools, is more than anxious to see the results of the implementation.  “Our staff is excited about the possibilities of the EDUSS software since our training.  They are anxious to train the others in their departments with this tool that can help fill the gaps in our students’ Math and English foundations.  I was impressed with the thoroughness of the EDUSS team as they worked with our staff.  Thanks for helping our kids.”
The EDUSS IMTA was purchased with Title 1 funds and will be implemented in Basic English and Mathematics courses, Title 1 computer aided instruction classes and HOSTS Mentoring at Wegner Middle School and Boys Town High School.
