How Our Assessment Software Works
The Eduss system defines competencies for current grade level proficiency.
The Eduss system assesses through specific math concept topic areas based on your child’s responses.
The Eduss system identifies the building blocks for teaching those math concepts your child doesn’t understand.
The Eduss system then provides a complete profile of student's knowledge, understanding, and mastery of math concepts, including a road map for your child's learning plan.
Comprehensive Reporting
The Eduss assessment will provide you with a customized report that details the specific math concepts that your child does not understand. This can serve as a guide to helping your child succeed in math.
Once you know what your child does not know, you now have the power to fix it.
There is nothing like having the confidence of knowing. Now you will. But, knowing is just the beginning. Your next step will be to remediate the gaps in your child’s knowledge. You may want to share the comprehensive report with your child’s teacher. You may also want to consider the Eduss Integrated Multi-Dimensional Teaching Assistant.
About the Eduss IMTA
The Eduss Integrated Multi-Dimensional Teaching Assistant (IMTA), from which the assessment has been taken, has a proven track record currently serving more than 22% of the schools and more than 14,000 homes in Australia. Over the past two years, Eduss has adapted the software to meet U.S. and state education standards, while employing additional best practices from around the globe. The math assessment portion of the software tests and provides detailed quantitative and qualitative reports on a child’s knowledge and understanding of critical concepts as set by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
The Eduss IMTA performs a computer-generated test that works out exactly where a child is having difficulties. Once the problems are identified, the software automatically adjusts the learning sequence to focus on the area of difficulty, and holds the child at that level until he or she develops an understanding. Children who have mastery of a concept can also be accelerated. Children enjoy learning using a combination of visual and audio help, coupled with fully interactive exercises that take a child step-by-step through their learning schedule until they reach established competencies. Eduss’ IMTA system works equally well with students who need help “catching up” to their grade level and those who are ready to advance, but now they can all be in the same classroom, providing increased class productivity and giving the teacher time for individualized instruction.
Currently, Eduss’ IMTA products are being utilized in Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States. Eduss is pleased to announce the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Bundall, Australia to Denver, Colorado.
